Welcome to Foundation Stage!
We are continuing our 'Autumn' theme this week, but starting to look at festivals too. Last week we talked about the children's own experiences of Bonfire Night and fireworks and this week we will move on to looking at light and pattern in the celebration of Diwali.
We have made our wonderful Autumn sun-catchers which now hang in our conservatory area and the classroom. They look great! The children are also making some fantastic fireworks pictures, using chalks.
Talking to a member of the Early Years Team
We realise that talking to a member of staff on the door can be a little bit difficult at the moment, but please don't hesitate to contact the school office by phone or email or send us a note on Tapestry if you need to speak to us, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
Information for learning at home
Below there are some links to some lists of websites that we hope you might found useful for using at home, particularly as we find ourselves spending more time at home again! These are also useful to use if your child has to be off school for any reason and are well enough to continue with their learning at home.
Thank you to all those parents who were able to attend the workshop meetings last week. We hope you found them useful. Please click below for our presentation slides from the workshops in case you were unable to attend or wish to have another look. We have added some notes on to the slides to explain each one but please get in touch if you have any questions.
