The Polestar Planetarium
The Year 2 classes had a fabulous visit from the Polestar Planetarium on Monday. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We walked on the moon with Neil Armstrong, and then went on an exciting journey around the solar system. We learnt what it would be like to be on different planets, and how likely it may be that life exists on these strange lands! We also went flying around Saturn's rings, and diving down into underwater sea of Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. We studied the night sky and learnt about how the Ancient Greeks had created stories and pictures around patterns in the stars. All in all a brilliant morning!
